240*F is the point the fluid starts breaking down. 220*F is when you get into the start of the degradation. As long as you aren't sitting there at 220*F for hours at a time I would say you're probably fine. That said seeing the failures that a lot of the GX transmissions have it appears to be an...
Right the glass ceiling is unfortunately just a gatekeeper way to eliminate people that haven't paid into the system with college. Not saying you won't learn, but 20k cost in the 80's is not the same as 100k today. Plus add in 2 extra years of college for most STEM bachelor's programs due to...
STEM degrees are the only thing I would go to school for. Even medical is 250k in loans minimum. STEM definitely has the highest ROI. I had 80k in loans in 2016 and majority paid off in 3 years prior to Covid. I'm also in a very specialized field. Not many people within my space. For reference...
Would not recommend going back to school unless you're interested and believe it will help you grow. 9/10 times you can just read a book and get the knowledge you seek. You're better off learning under someone or having a good mentor than you are trusting an academic with 0 years experience in...
College and experience are not the same. Just need to look for small businesses that know this vs. corporations with HR departments that don't do anything but front run that whole scam. Coming from someone that has a degree and went to college. I do have a job in my degree field, but I can tell...
I've taken mine through both touch and touchless. Wind visor stays on but shifts around. I took double sided tape and put in on the clips and it doesn't move side to side anymore. Never had an issue with it coming off.
Anything JW is going to be pretty janky. Not impressed with their service or design. Their sliders, for instance, I had a lot of issues getting installed. I asked them how to bolt in one of the bolts that was not going in. They said just leave it out and left it at that. Would be wary trusting...
Have had mine on for a year on Michigan roads (if you know, you know). A few notes. The internal part of the door has a brace that connects to the outer bracket of the door. This helps with rigidity that prevents flexing of the sheet metal too much. It does flex some, but not enough to distort...
Putting down some miles! Highly recommend dream cruise in Detroit if you ever get the chance. This year is August 17th. Every single kind of vehicle you can imagine from hot rods to dragsters to trophy trucks to supercars, hypercars etc etc.
Think Slee labels theirs to fit OME Heavy MT64 - 3" Suspension Lift'03-'24 4Runner & '07-'14 FJC - Slee Off Road - https://sleeoffroad.com/products/sus-kit-56/#front-struts. But pretty sure it is just a heavy 4runner variant that should work for GX.
Real estate market out there makes no sense 😂. My dad's house is way out in Carnation and still well over 1mill which is like 4 times the worth of our house in MI on a lake with double the lot size. Tri Cities is way more liveable imo over the constant flow of rain. Enjoy!
If you have levinson audio, you also may need to get into the audio settings in the OEM headunit side. Each channel has it's own EQ that you need to adjust to your liking if you went from high everything to normal could be why it sounds quieter.
I don't have beatsonic, but there are two different part numbers they sell. I would double check that you have the correct one for 2010-2013. If you do then I would follow the beatsonic install for the 2010-13 version. The entire headunit is completely different.
