those vacuum switches go bad. routinely. the light bulb could simply out, but more likely it is not lighting up because the switch is no longer working. the piece on the firewall probably needs to be replaced. those vacuum lines can also fall apart, depriving the system the suction required to...

i think an OME package will lift around 1.5 inches up front and 2.5 in the back if memory serves. it varies depending on how flat your springs are, and they look pretty shot. It should have a big impact on the ride. much smoother, relatively speaking.

^^^^ what he said. If you do not plan to run spacers... save yourself endless research on 17's and go back to the wheels that work thread. I believe there are only a few , maybe two options that do not require either spacers, or other modifications.

why not make an offer while factoring in that you might invest another $3-4K to baseline it. difficult to imagine a CL ad w/ this description where the price is not negotiable. negotiation is expected!

whoever gets the brown inner door panel - if you have an old panel with the rubber strip that is part of the panel, which runs along the bottom of the inside of the window, i believe it is stapled to the panel - please PM me if you wind up with an extra off of your old panel. i think / guess it...

Test your 4wd engages and holds in gear properly. It really sucks when a cheap switch on the vacuum line dies when you need it most.

If I owned a rig with this history, I personally would want the estimates for all recommended work. If I went home with 1 thing fixed and was left as clueless on all the other issues as I was when I arrived... I would consider that the mark of an incompetent shop. How's coming in with a...
