    Exactly what you're picturing is spot on. It's really cold because it is from the snow melting in the mountains behind the dunes. Thats why its only in that window that you can tube.

    Usually the end of May/beginning of June is when the stream is flowing enough to tube. Always a good natural event to see.

    I've been to it, accidentally. Saw a couple Unimogs, a lot of Defenders, saw some LCs too. Coffee and solid axles is what you get. Is that not satisfying enough to spend an hour of your day?

    Well Ole Stage was a great choice. Turned out it was Zac's Dad's birthday at the hatch cover. So our trip ended with some pool.
