No one was interested in going on this event on Sunday, at the club meeting, the consensus was to change the event to Saturday the 18th.

The October Trail ride is on the trails on the South Side of Pikes Peak that branch off Old Stage Road. The [plan is to run FR379 through to FR376A Bull Park.

Meet at the Safeway on Nevada ( 1920 S. Nevada Ave. ) at 8:00 am. Leave about 8:15.

Great times boys. Vic and Dave, I made it home. I took the gamble and did 379. Thought I might of caught you.

And oh yeah. I got on 379 at 9 this morning and got home at 8. So 11 hours

It was a great day and a great last ride for me (for a while) before becoming a cripple on Monday. It was a 12-hour day. There were five rigs to start (SAS, Goslow, Manitou Decline, Nomadcruisers44, and me). We did 379 across to Bull Park. We had lunch at the top and enjoyed the views.

On the way back down, we got a radio call from Zac's friend Joel and met up with him, and then headed over to Eagle Rock - a first for most of us. SAS departed. We made it in until it got severe - Joel and Zac continued on, but my foot was done in by hiking ahead to preview the trail, and I threw in the towel. Goslow, Manitou, and I headed back down and took Gold Camp over to [Your Choice] Wrap. Manitou and Goslow both almost flipped over backwards on that first hill, and we lost Manitou after that. Goslow and I continued to the loop road back over to Eagle, had a trail dinner, and headed for home.

It was a truly great trail ride!
