For anyone buying the new center caps. I bought a set for my DakarZeros but they didn’t fit. After some digging on the EvoCorse website I found You need to buy the retrofit kit for pre 2021 wheels. The kit is needed to drill and Tap hole into your old wheels to mount the caps.
I think I’m running into this issue right now. I have a 2015, new tires, and new TPMS sensors that won’t register. Been to the tire shop 3 times, no luck. I’ll check tomorrow. Thanks for the post!
I was worried about the look of no center caps too, but I have to tell you I think the look fine in person without them. I might eventually paint the hubs to clean them up a little but I’m not stressing over it.
Yep, just vinyl decals. The easy to remove type of vinyl decal. I'll probably pull mine off soon. You can order replacement decals in black, white, or always fashionable yellow. If they made a dark gray (understated) decal I'd probably put them on.
Most people have good luck running 285/70/17’s. It’s also the size Toyota recommends when running the Rock Warrior Wheels. Some people have gotten away with 285/75/17’s with some rubbing.
Like you I’m looking at the 285/70/17’s, not only because I know they will fit but because I can get them...
@nhs15, if you haven’t already ordered your Dakar Zero wheels hit up Mainline Overland soon. They just got a shipment in and depending on what color you’re looking at they might already be sold out. I ordered mine eleven weeks ago and they just shipped from Mainline to me this week.
I agree. I just wish I could find the emblem in silver vs white. I bought the white version but to paint it correctly, while keeping the black outline, will take some time.
They look like +0 offset. 702s are +0 only and 313s are +0 or +25. The +25 Method 313s seem like a sweet spot wheel. +25 and hub centric. Well suited for Land Cruisers or Tundras.
