So, mine are destroyed. This may be a NOOB question, but are they really necessary/functional enough to source and replace or has anyone gone without them? I couldn't find any relevant info using the search here - TIA friends!

Sadly I won't notice the sound difference because of the Cummins swap - the biggest weight change is in the front, but in the rear I do have HD springs but only carry about 250lbs of gear in the rear regularly, and that's with the 3rd row of seats out so it shouldn't be over loaded in the rear...

I am replacing the driver's side rear axle outer oil seal today - looking at the axle shaft itself where the bearings ride, does this seem normal to have such a deep groove or do I have a problem I am unaware of? Bearing itself seems to be visually in great shape and in working order as I spin...

Jon, with the headlights in the off position, what if the dim headlights come on when pulling the stalk back? Not the high beams. Is that normal? The brights have never worked since I bought the truck but the odd thing is that the blue symbol only comes on when the stalk is forward if I have...

Is anyone else planning to have their main shaft modified by Dutchmen Motorsports in Idaho soon? I need to get mine done asap I'm planning to call them tomorrow - maybe we can get a better price with multiple works orders? Cheers to all the swaps getting it done!

Update: Factory air box, throttle body and intake manifold all replaced via a running 3FE LC i bought for parts for VERY cheap...swapped a LOT of parts and odds and ends but I now have a complete factory 3FE, with plenty of temporary and some semi-permanent red duct tape repairs, that runs...
