If the headlights are working properly then the high beam bulbs are not getting grounded by the stalk switch. Does the flash work (pulling the stalk toward you)?

Of course the very frst thing I would do is check both bulbs.

Jon, with the headlights in the off position, what if the dim headlights come on when pulling the stalk back? Not the high beams. Is that normal?

The brights have never worked since I bought the truck but the odd thing is that the blue symbol only comes on when the stalk is forward if I have the high beam bulbs unplugged. If the high beam bulbs are installed, not only to I not get the Blue dash symbol but they don't come on at all. Brand new bulbs too.

Have you ever heard of such a high beam issue?

The flash function should fire all 4 bulbs, so I would expect the low beams to light. It sounds like a faulty stalk switch or you're missing a ground connection to the stalk switch.
