When you mention 're-booting', does it lose power? Maybe the wire/rattle is disconnecting/reconnecting to power? Just thinking out loud.

There are a few discussions about upgrading from halogen light bulbs to LED. The DRL system on the 2008 is affected by this because the high beam light and the DRL system share this bulb. I just want to disconnect the DRL system. How can I do this? Thanks.
