The unit I ordered was delivered, and I had it installed last Thursday. After working/watching the process. I should have attempted the project myself. It was pretty straightforward and would have been a lot cheaper. I live in the SW, given the dry conditions here I was concerned about the brittle plastic. But everything worked out well.
The unit itself for the limited time I have had to use it, works well. There are a few short comings I can easily work around. For instance - the turn-by-turn voice directions only work in AUX mode (expected), but only when nothing else is running. When I have the XM radio app running, no voice directions will come through. I'm an Android guy, using Android Auto not Apple Car Play. Maybe it's a setting I'm missing, still experimenting. Also, I was really looking forward to see if GAIA maps works. It does, however, the original screen size and resolution will keep me using my tablet.
