Do you have a write up on how you wired/connected the amp?? Im getting ready to swap out radios to a 10" android (i have a factory non-nav truck and previous owner swapped in a double din already)

As far as i understand, yes, original engine with the addition of the Holley EFI and a rebuilt alternator. Waiting on additional info.

Thanks. It’s an ‘85 and yes, 4sp manual. I updated the post. It would be my first 60 series. No rust. Holley EFI kit. Not sure about anything else done. But she said they paid $38k from a resto-mod shop so I would imagine a lot was done to it!

Found a really nice 60 series for sale. 160k miles. 4 speed manual. Fuel injected. Interior and exterior were redone 2 years ago. Front arb bumper and winch along w roof rack. Looks super clean. Going to go see it tmrw hopefully. What should I expect to pay??? Not sure their ask as it’s part of...

Yes I 98-02 were different. 03-07 are the same.

You do NOT have to turn the key to aux. Simply turn key to on to unlock steering wheel and turn it to “off” and leave key in ignition so your steering wheel stays unlocked. You could even put a strap of Velcro across so it doesn’t get knocked out or come out on bumpy roads. So, key to on then to...

Welp it’s been a minute since I’ve been on this thread. Last year, Florida hurricane season was interesting. Our home was threatened in st Pete so I had my brother drive the cruiser up to our place in Georgia. He actually put more miles on it doing that than I have in two years of ownership...

Wanted to update the thread. Finally found the leaky culprits. The lower exterior rear window trim… horrible design by Toyota. There are holes drilled directly into the sheet metal that the trim clips into using body panel tabs w neoprene washers. Well, those were shot so I made some new ones...

crap.... i missed these!

Checked all the usual suspects. The water was entering thru the rear vents and then draining down to the front pans… one side was missing two seals so off to the hardware store to source some new rubbers…
