Anyone have any thoughts on this? It looks to me like the same basic configuration, but in the 3 prong connector, the second ground is coming from the lower light?
It seems to me that for the bottom light:
Red (power) -> Green (power)
Black (ground) - > Black (ground)
Upper:
Yellow (power)...
Hey Mudders, I need some assistance here. My 07 lX recently had a mishap and the LH tailgate mounted brake and reverse light was cracked. I ordered what I thought to be a plug and play replacement but while the lens/fixture looks identical, the wiring is different. The lamp has a 4 pin...
OK, thank you all. The car did start with a jumper. Battery posts appear to be fine. I don't have a multimeter at the moment, I'll need to collect one.
I have not seen the car behave in this manner during prior battery drains/issues. I will check the voltage and charge the battery to see...
I am looking for some help after attempting to swap out might headlights. I decided to move from plastic headlights to aftermarket glass housings in my 2007 LX. As part of that change, I decided to try installing some Hikari H1 LEDs as well.
I pulled out the old housings, swapped one...
I also would love to get a set of DT headers for my 07. I contacted DT and they said they needed enough interest to do another production run. Perhaps something could be organized?
Hey Mud, looking for some help today. I'm attempting to replace a broken driver side mirror. Some kind person decided that mine didn't need to be in one piece any longer and broke mine at the shaft.
I found a replacement but the wiring appears to be different on this mirror than on my 2007...
I should note that the line runs along the driveshaft and that the broken bracket is above that, just off the gas tank in front of the rear axle. As you can see, I've zip tied it out of the way for now.
Hello All, I'm hoping some of you can help confirm that I believe to be true.
In the images below you can see wear on a line from contact with the driveshaft. I believe this to be the emergency brake cable and not a hydraulic brake line. Is that correct? I do not want to risk driving the...
Thanks to @Mauser for this great thread. Using what I learned here, plus Techstream, I was finally able to program another Master Key for my 2007 LX.
The 2006 and 2007 model years use the code HYQ12BBT transmitter instead of the HYQ1512V transmitter. Being a Lexus it also needs the code 68...
Used it today. Drove 700 miles fully loaded with ease, only to be followed the last hundred yards by a fat, hungry, black bear.
He circled the LX twice, I guess he must be into 100 series.
When my AHC let go, it was in the same spot. Most of the line looked fine, but there was a pinhole from rust on the line above the accumulator. Riding in the driver's seat, the difference was not immediately obvious to me on a good road as the torsion bars still provided some suspension. In the...
This is great. I saw that it had been done in the other thread, but would not have attempted this without your detailed instructions. I'll give it a shot the next time I change my cabin air filter.
