I’m going to be messing with mine more this summer. I lifted the rear of the hood about an inch to let air out, but it didn’t seem to help. Probably going to try venting the hood and possibly installing an oil cooler in the return line.

Did you get the stuff you need from a Land Cruiser with JBL? If not I have one from an ‘06 that I’d be willing to send to you for testing and fitment. It’s currently not installed as I have an Android “Tesla style” screen installed. I’d want it back, but it’s just having out in a box anyway.

Did you end up doing this? If so, where did you install it and where did you plumb it?

I ordered that kit for my 04 LX470 and can confirm it works good. Everything is reasonably good quality, just expect the shipping to take awhile couple of weeks at least.

I didn’t use a spacer in mine and it sits and fits just fine.

I just bought a 2013, one owner, bought new and serviced it's whole life at the same dealer with 100k miles for $40k. It's also in dang near perfect shape. Window sticker from the dealer when new was just over $93k.
