OEM vs Aftermarket parts is a litmus test for an Insurance Company Ethics. Not all are the same.

At 300k miles, I'd go w/ the first ebay unit and learn to live w/ the yellow screen.

CAN Bus electronics scare me, so anything aftermarket would need to be vetted IMO. OEM is the safest way to go. And I hear you, "infotainment" is the weak link in modern cars.

Replacements screens are OEM? And $50-$100? And easy to install? I'd go that route.

Not great, but beyond being much more difficult to wrench on, I doubt you are in imminent danger of a structural failure. In 5 more years though?

Pardon the slightly divergent thread. I saw a ride height sensor on the rear passenger side while underneath the truck and wondered why it's there. I don't have the air ride system. I failed to notice if there was one on the driver's side too. So are these sensors used on non-air ride trim...

Harness issue?

Nice job on the fix! Also, please remind me, what's the difficult disconnection step on the rear of the intake again? I seem to remember people discussing this as problematic, as it's a tight fit w/ the firewall being close. Maybe it's a harness connector? Am I being too vague?

I wondered about this detail. Lubing the entire o-ring vs just the outside surface may be a subtle but important anti-rolling step.

@Arcad, how butt clenching was the coolant pipe/o-ring/engine/CVP install? There's definitely some less than ideal entry angles associated w/ that! Those o-rings give me nightmares lol. I would think advantage for the gasket approach here, as there's less "smearing" concerns?

Mine leans such that the driver's side is lower. It's a 2023, and I have no explanation for it's unicorn status. The delta is about 5/8". This is static. I have no idea what it is while driving.
