Hmm yeah I might look into that, I still have the door card off so wouldn’t be too much trouble and their is plenty of wire. My key fob is different to yours the buttons are slightly recessed so haven’t had that issue, I must say I’m feeling very modern not having to get the keys out every time!

Thanks for the write ups above guys, I got the same kit and worked like a charm. I did however snap the door linkage clip doing it in the dark, so now waiting for that part to come before putting the door card back on. This method is roughly 1/10th of the cost if you get a plug and play kit...

Yeah now it’s cooled down for winter my head temp sensor are never going above 90c, I got the head temp down to 76c on the highway with the heater cranking the other day...

I think this and an exhaust for our engines are the best mods we can do. I’ll be talking on this endeavor pretty soon with my rig, can I ask why you’ve gone W2A path and not A2A like many others have done? Cheers

I had a pretty decent pioneer radio in the car but it stopped working for some reason, anyway was shopping around and found this retro looking BT head unit ($100aud) I think it fits pretty nice, sound is also pretty good for the money and then went for a drive of course

That would be a pretty sweet set up, I’ve heard of those control valves but never have seen it in a DIY style system. I think I’m going to go the old man style keep the family road trips happy, I’ve had my fair share of loud cars in the past! Cheers

Sorry I missed this one last time! Yes do the 10 blade fan and viscous oil top up if you haven’t yet! No noise increase I’ve noticed but massive cooling improvement about 1 week after service

Hello 70 friends, after a busy time with kids, life, etc etc I’m finally ready to start making a bit more power from the stock 1kz. My logic is to do the exhaust first, as any more power will = more heat which is obviously asking for trouble this engine. Love some input on a couple of questions...
