Personally, I would avoid Fox, King or Icon as these are race bred shocks and as such come with much higher PM maintenance schedules. They are great shocks but like much of this you need to apply the following formula and decide what work best for you: Fast, Cheap, Reliable. Pick two. For a recreational off-road truck, I would avoid any shocks with hard connection points like hemispherical rod ends and do your research as to what the vendor recommends for service intervals.
Thanks, yeah I agree, could be quite annoying to service them regularly, Fox interval services are about every 50k kilometres with mixed use road and off road. Still have my eye on Dobinsons too just weighing up the options, cheers

For what it's worth, I have the Dobinsons MRR's on both of my Land Cruisers and they are phenomenal. People get in my 60 and think I've done a conversion to coil overs the ride is so plush. That said I did spend a few days dialing in the suspension settings which is key to good ride quality and should not be underestimated. I'm always surprised how many folks get adjustable shocks and don't take advantage of the settings. They are great on the 75 too as I can tune the rears based on load which really makes the pickup handle nicely. Depending on your budget, I've also heard great things about their IMS units too.

Best of luck with your decision.
