thought I would share my airbox, it’s a volant system meant for a JK jeep. 3.5” to 3” 45 degree elbow then just a 90 degree 3” elbow to the turbo. Lines up with the hole in the fender, has an additional inlet (not sure what for, Jeep thing) I had to cut off and block. Runs great with it!

If anyone else is in a similar pickle: an fj80 throttle cable works. Had to enlarge the 2 mounting guide holes and it is a little longer, but connects just fine

Really looking for an hdj81/hdj80, rhd 1hdt (1hz may work?) accelerator cable. Not the trans kick down cable. I ordered one from Japan only for them to cancel since it's out of production. Mines about to fail.

How much lift do you have? I'd just stay OEM if you're 2" lift or less. I just did mine on 91 hdj81, used fj80 as reference. FZJ80 will have 1 extra inner line for ABS, other than that it's the same if i remember correctly.

I'm manually putting it in L - indicator stays in L the whole time, including when it upshifts itself to 2. Upshifting manually to 2 - indicates 2 but no shift change since it already shifted itself to 2. Holds 2 and 3 fine, just need it to hold L!

Howdy y'all, I'm having a problem in which when in 4low and L, it acts like it's actually in 2. It may start in 1st from a stop but it won't stay in 1st - making steep inclines and declines a bit difficult. Everything else with the trans is great and fresh fluid at the correct level. Should I...
