Yeah, I was tempted to go check it out when the seller indicated he'd take around 60k, but seems the risk of major repairs isn't worth the discount.

See post 3,751. Probably a flood car

https://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/d/fair-oaks-2019-toyota-land-cruiser/7623106627.html I planned to jump on this before I looked at the service records. Originally a Florida car that ended up in PA. Seems like high flood risk. Could be a good deal for someone, but buyer beware. 11/22...

It's definitely a scam. Also listed on Bay Area Craigslist and I saw it here months ago. Texted the seller and they want to have some conversation over email, which mostly confirms scam.

https://www.goldenstateinfiniti.com/inventory/Used-2016-Toyota-Land_Cruiser-JTMCY7AJ6G4040785/ No affiliation but this seems like a pretty good deal (or maybe I'm out of touch w/ the market). 2016 with 80k, black on black. $57k and been listed at this Infiniti dealer for a while.

Do you mind if I ask what you paid? Feel free to DM if you don’t want to share publicly. I’m looking at a 5k mile example and trying to figure out what’s a good deal.

Someone on this forum was trying to sell that truck. Seemed pretty shady to me. Looks like they unloaded it on a dealer

Is this the gray one in San Francisco? I was considering taking a look but will pass if it's the same one that you drove. Doesn't help that I found the seller quite obnoxious in my brief correspondence with her.

There must be something wrong with this one -- anyone know what it is? They recently put stock wheels on and dropped the price to $54k. Tempted to go check it out since I'm local.

I had the same experience. Too many remote buyers looking for a deal and a dealership experience from a private seller. Ended up selling my 2018 200 to a dealer for asking price. The MMR must be 📈📈📈 with these offers. I think yours is priced very well relative to mine ($5k more, 1 year...

Yeah, really curious what they get for it. They were great to work with. Easiest transaction ever. Would sell another car to them in a second, but probably won't be a buyer.

It's going across the country, so unfortunately I think that's unlikely.

I was not going to comment on this, but no, the truck was never listed for (and certainly not sold) for $65k. You must misremember what you saw on Craigslist.
