Fwiw, 100% coverage for vibe/resonance damping is definitely unnecessary and just wastes material/money. That being said, I installed ~70lbs of Amazon Basics in my 80 and the difference was impressive.

I wouldn’t worry about that at all… seems like a punch just slipped off a race during removal, no big. Just make sure nothing is proud of the ID (as in something catches your nail as you drag it over the surface) and if it is touch it up with a diamond file until it’s not.

Thanks @alia176 ! The E3 compression latches are pretty friggin' nifty. The head rotation initially actuates the cam 90deg and then pulls it 1/4" and vice versa. Really slick and low profile. The shaft is quite long out of the package and can almost be entirely cut away, I only have a small gap...

Happy to share my dxf but it may not be what you want... I used SouthCo E3-16-25 compression latches and recessed the Leer hinges on the top edge to minimize the gap. They're definitely not perfect but close enough for jazz. Maybe one day I'll dial in the profile and get some borosilicate...
