Agreed. I followed those and it feels quite short. On my tool, the center pin that adjust sits proud of the two sides by maybe 1/2 centimeter. I would think it should be dead even. No?

SST Question: I bought an adjustment tool off of amazon for $10, but the rod in the middle is longer than the two others. That doesn't seem right. I believe I now need to trim that down so it's exactly the same length as the two sides of the H. Can anyone confirm? Just installed new CityRacer...

That looks an awful lot like a "monitor arm" for a computer screen in a workplace. Check on FB marketplace or if you have a buddy who works in facilities for a big company like me, they often have tons of them laying around.

To my knowledge, once you Fluid Film, you can't really paint it unless you somehow get all the FF off. I'd suggest doing some type of rust reformer first, then paint if you want, and finally FF. At least on the underside that won't be seen and won't have UV exposure.

Can't remember who on here suggested it, but give the drain plug a good whack with a ball peen hammer or similar. There's a copper washer that gets stuck. I did that and it miraculously loosened.

Can I ask where the sliders came from? Both the ones below the side steps and on the back corners? I'd like to do something similar for my infrequent, but impactful, wheeling trips.

Fortunately the 40 only ended up with a scratch. That 4Plus bumper is no joke! I used it to realign the chimney and pull the sill back 5 1/2 inches. Worked rather well. Was gonna use the 8274 but was worried it is too fast! Now just have to decide if I repair the chimney or take it down and go...
