I will say this, as much as I am disappointed with the spindle provided, CruiserTeq was super helpful in helping me figure out what was needed to return to Toyota based parts and everything was purchased that I initially needed through them.

Yes they are aluminum, not sure the manufacturer. That is one of the cosmetic improvements the previous owner made, when he bought it there were no steps and the original fenders had been cut. And noted on the bezel! :)
