Replace your master and slave at the same time.
Also make sure your rod is the correct length or you will get stuck and need a large log to pop it back in. Ask me how I know. 😬
I just left Austin to head back to Arkansas where I now live. I may be interested in grabbing a core, but I was looking for a complete assembled third member for ease of install time. I don’t have anything at my house to set up lash.
Thanks!
Zip is 72714
I have a 77 and need one third member setup with 4.11s.
I need a good set, no whine, possible a front set someone pulled out.
Long story, but I have mismatched differentials and want to make them match of course. :)
Hopefully someone can drop a spare set in a bucket and ship it to me.

I’m not understanding why you wouldn’t just wire in a pertronix and a 30 dollar pertronix coil and Be done with it.

The wire coming out of the same harness is Solid red (R) and attaches to nothing currently. A previous owner has twisted a WB...
She is all routed up. Since this picture I have reworked the fuel lines which were unacceptably routed.
Also, I couldn’t stand the current state of the intake. A little TLC mid project slowed down progress but was well worth an hour spent with Scotch brute pads.
A weekend in this position reminded me what working on cars does to your body in strange ways. A little different than mountain biking.
Cuts on arm are from previous weekends MTB race. I tagged a rock face of a cliff pretty hard.
Upon removal of the carb and studs, the project hit a small road block. Some point in the last 45 years, someone Helicoiled the intake. I had to clearance my deadline cruisers adapter (which is sweet BTW)
Redline cruisers has been fantastic in this entire process. Their brackets have been a...
