What did you do with your Tundra or Sequoia this weekend?

Bought one! Already started doing some small improvements but don't intend on getting too crazy with this one. Probably add a leveling kit and some 6112/5160s, dual battery, and fridge.

SOLD Tacoma, WA 97' FZJ80-Green-No Lockers-Lots of Maintenance

Sold this morning, 4-14-19, for the asking price for anyone researching. Thanks again all. I'll be lurking in the Tundra section... :) I was going to just attach a Word doc but doesn't look like I can so here's my looong post. Well I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’m not using my LC...

What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend?

I did the same thing except I did have warning sounds. I tried to make it last one more day until I wasn't working but that backfired.

What else to replace with valve cover removed

If you're taking the throttle body off you should replace the small coolant hoses underneath. @beno for part numbers or try search.

    Chunky chocolate milk anyone?

OP, good luck with the flush. Now's a good time to refresh hoses too. Zack, am I the only one that has a hell of a time reaching my petcock valve? Is there some kind of trick to it? Mine is located on the driver's side and there are smaller lines, I think ps lines, that are in the way...

    Won’t start after maintenance

If you don't have a CEL it will just crank. Did your CEL light up before you did all of this? If not, maybe the dash bulb is out. If it did, new fusible link could have gotten fried by something you did after you installed it or something not wired correctly.

    Sleeping IN vehicle

My fridge sits behind the driver's seat and is on a slide. I move the driver's seat all the way forward and then slide the fridge forward to maximize the space for sleeping. The platform is designed for the wife to sleep on that side but we haven't needed it yet. I've slept on the passenger...

What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend?

Installed my aftermarket seat heaters to keep my buns warm. Found a good spot for the controls. May need to rewire the switch lights to the ACC wire instead of constant power but otherwise they get super toasty.
