I found it - it’s at the points where it contacts the frame. I put some nickel grease in all of those spots and the creaking is gone.

Has anyone experienced creaking/squeaking from their E&E minimal bumper? I’ve got a nasty groan/creak sound that I’ve been trying to track down and I think I’ve narrowed it to the rear bumper. I’m going to drop it today to confirm but just curious if anyone has experienced the creaking, and if...

I would, but I live in Tacoma where everything is 12 minutes away and I work from home. So it’d be used for trips to Home Depot and camping and that’s about it - if I was commuting, NFW.

Yeah, the one-piece design made it pretty easy to figure out. Looks great! Looks better on a white truck though. ;)

I’ve got the CBI brackets - they fit like s*** but it’s doable. I used a heat gun, plastic welding, and sand paper to make room for them between the hood and the cowl. It was a bit of a pain but not a big deal.

I’ve got a Front Runner rack and had to order special brackets. I’m not crazy about how it mounts, honestly. I’ve had to cram foam into certain areas to stop rattles and the deafening wind noise. I love the tent itself, but the mounting options could use some work.

LOL - it certainly is! I take the fuel cans off at camp to get it back under the load rating. I’m planning to drop it off with Slee for an LRA tank install next time we go to our place in NM. But until then, it’s a pack mule!
