He has good points though. OEM parts have durability and reliability far beyond aftermarket stuff.

That truck was kind of bizarre. Some serious metal like bp51, Budbuilt sliders but then you look at the stock underside, no skids, and not a mark on it. That thing has never been off the pavement. I wonder if it was an ed Martin truck originally.
Yeah, I think his point is that people should be honest with what they’re actually going to do with their vehicles and understand the tradeoffs before jumping to mods. Modifying a vehicle for off-roading, sacrificing durability for capability, only to never use the capability is a choice
and I’m sure he would probably see a lot of trucks exactly like the one in this video which have overbuilt off-road mods and clearly have never seen even a spec of dirt.
