Permanently engaging electric hubs This is what I did. Funny enough it retains far more 70 series original equipment than a 60 series axle swap. Oldblue's fix is much cleaner. To pacify the purists, I've since cleaned and painted the endcaps to a near original Toyota black. ;)

Have you had a look at the manual hub conversion that oldblue does? Super strong and reliable. Not too invasive. I think that is an ideal solution after seeing some trucks with spacers that shear off the lugs.

They should compress a bit more over the next few weeks and maybe even out.

This is my rear storage/speaker solution. It will also be a sleeping platform that have a part folding over the rear seats. May not be what you're looking for, but it works for me.

Found this is the local scrap yard here in Uganda for $120. It's made by Fujitsubo Giken and retails for $1750. Obviously has some miles on it but still a pretty good find. Installed it this morning and it purrs. Will now be working on making a dump pipe.
