    Dead 100 Series

So here's where I'm at. Pulled the battery and brought it to autozone where they charged it. He said he charged it 100% and then tested it about an hour later and it was only at 65% charge. So according to him, it is not holding a charge. I put it in the truck and it started up. What are the...

    Dead 100 Series

Tried jumping it with no luck. Nothing happens. No sounds or clicking. The only light that comes on the dash is the open door light. Locks don't work. No other lights come on. I had a running car hooked up to it for 30 minutes.

    Dead 100 Series

Hey guys - I tried to start my LC this morning and it was completely dead. A little background - it has a new battery and a new starter that were put in a few months ago. It is stuck in park and I can't shift it to neutral to move it so I can jump it. What's my next step here? What could be...

My LC is really slow going uphill

Take off the engine cover and you'll see the throttle cable on the passenger side of the engine. There are two 14mm nuts that can be loosened to change the slack in the cable - very similar to the cable adjustment on a bicycle. One person stepped on the gas pedal with the engine off while the...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Cleaned throttle body, MAF sensor, new air filter, and installed sliders! Also figured out why my LC was so slow. Throttle cable needed to be tightened and previous owner installed new floormats on top of the old ones so the gas pedal couldn't be floored all the way. Previous hills where it was...

My LC is really slow going uphill

So I solved the problem with the help of a friend. Using the torque app we figured out flooring it only opened the throttle up to 69 to 70% max. It really bogged on the hills we were going up. The throttle cable was pretty loose and we tightened it up a bit. Then we went to check and see if the...

So running boards - do I chuck them or do people actually want them?

I have a set of running boards in good condition from a 2000 LC. I've been trying to get rid of them for over a year in my local classifieds. I'm ready to get them out of my shed. Throwing them in a dumpster seems pretty wasteful...anyone else have any other ideas?

My LC is really slow going uphill

Not yet - Still deciding if I should take it in to get looked at or start trying to fix it. There are no codes, no check engine light. I'll probably start by cleaning the MAF sensor and changing the air filter. From what it sounds like - I should be able to cruise up Parley's at 75mph no...
