Toyota Owners Site - Invalid VIN?

Yeah it’s a 2. Matches the full VIN on the carfax too.

Toyota Owners Site - Invalid VIN?

That’s interesting. Was hoping I would experience the same today but no such luck. Were you accessing it from a mobile device or computer? I’ve tried it on both and the same result. Below is a screenshot of the page I navigate to.

Well admittedly feel pretty dumb. I could’ve sworn I read that the LC200 came with KDSS as an option and I assumed there was some sort of switch or button to adjust it. Now seeing that it comes standard and is a passive system. I look forward to learning more about the LC200 if I snag this one...

Great suggestion, hadn't thought of this. Gave it a try. No luck - UGH.

Toyota Owners Site - Invalid VIN?

There is but I don’t have the car with me anymore. Maybe I can get a picture of the VIN from the owner and act like I’m actually scanning it. We’ll see who’s smarter :)

Toyota Owners Site - Invalid VIN?

I'm looking at purchasing a 2013 LC 200. Went on Toyota Owners website, typed in VIN, says it's "Invalid VIN for the Brand". Anyone experience this? I've checked that I typed it in right a bazillion times, have verified the VIN is legit on the truck itself and the carfax. I'm very confused......

Truck looks really nice. I can't see any rust :) No KDSS on this one. What are things to look for on hitch and spare tire mechanism?

I’m going to check one out today. Will see if it’s really zero or not. Initial videos I received looked pretty good. When I check Toyota Owners site with the VIN, it says it’s not a valid VIN but I know it’s a valid VIN. So I gotta figure that out and learn some more about service history.

I’m not super familiar with 200 series pricing. What’s a fair price in the southeast for a 2013 white LC with 100k miles, very clean, zero rust, mall cruiser?

    Media 120 series Photos!

Anyone with a lighter color GX (white, silver, gray) done anything different with the side fenders, hood or roof? Meaning paint a different color, wrap a different color, etc.? I have some sun bake on my new to me SILVER GX and am trying to decide if I should simply repaint a few spots to match...

    Likely expenses…considering warranty?

This is a great help, thanks for the detailed reply. While I do think the extended warranty would cover me if my radiator and/or water pump went out and if the valley plate leak occurred, it’s not going to cover all of the preventative stuff that you mention wanting to do soon, fluid changes...

    Likely expenses…considering warranty?

Actually glad to hear there’s at least one on the side of getting the warranty. Prob gotta see some other compelling arguments on this side before I decide I want to keep it though :)

    Likely expenses…considering warranty?

I fully would plan to do radiator at or before 120k. Think I’ve seen valley plate issue is only on certain years….any ‘21s with it? I’m familiar with the issue as I had it on an older LX570 I owned several years ago. Not familiar with the timing cover job - what’s that entail!? 5500 is steep...

    Likely expenses…considering warranty?

I haven’t taken it to an independent mechanic for an inspection. I looked it over thoroughly before purchasing and know these trucks fairly well - at least some of the obvious things to look for at the “surface”. The dealer sold it as a certified vehicle where it’s covered for 12 months bumper...
