Well it looks like I can’t make it 😔 I’m strapped for time, getting everything ready for Moab and Summit plus work schedule issues. So sorry! Go have fun and I’ll catch you guys another time for sure! 😉
I’ve held off saying this in hopes I could still make it work, but unfortunately I just can’t get away! Way too much to do before my month-long expedition to Moab and FJ Summit in July...I’m really sad about missing this run with you guys, but will make it down there again for sure 👍 Thanks...
You guys are awesome!! This will be perfect for me, getting acquainted with new front locker prior to Moab and having a blast in the process 😁 Thanks Jody for starting the thread and setting it up! 👍
VOR is weekend after next, and it’s been summer-like weather up here in VT...working on arranging warm & dry weather with a sprinkling of foliage for you guys Can’t wait!
I’m in for my 4th year in a row at VOR, and will be camping in my usual spot on the stream by the crossing (just down the hill from Peters house). I’ll be watching for you guys...come say hello!
I get that - kind of tired of the murdered out all-black look myself. The Aussies have a lot of fun with bumper color, like matching it to body color, even very bright blues, reds, yellows lol That’s part of what made me decide to loosen up and give grey a try ;-)
I considered that too, but went with the standard black powder coat on my Resz V2 with stinger. Now I regret going powder coat as it comes off in sheets once scratched - brutal winter road glop gets under there and breeds rust. Sooooo I’m getting ready to sandblast and paint it GUNMETAL GREY...
I'm in, for my 4th year in a row! Let's make sure and meet up this time :) I always use the same spot, right by the stream - look at pic above from '16 when I used the red rain fly/blue tent. Here's some pics from '17
In case you're wondering, this was early morning Goat Yoga! Nice...
Cool - very memorable experience, wasn't it? Yeah its a great trail and I believe GPS said its in Plymouth. Next time I want to go UP it lol Imagine you did Chatteguey and Agony Hill? Two other fun ones:
Yes it takes 3 days (a bit more for me from VT) and agree you don't want to arrive in Moab exhausted because you'll be full-throttle adrenaline the whole time you're there. I've been driving out every July for three years, with no plan to stop. Enjoy the long distance drive and I love Moab in...
I believe he was just touching the wall - must admit it was a pretty strange experience looking out the drivers side window and seeing nothing but dirt....but yeah agree it was a bonehead move and is why the spotters hands are gesturing "no" in the foreground - we all spontaneously yelled No...
