    O2 sensor stud

My LX is a 2005. I'm not sure why they would change the O2 sensor bung between model years, but all is possible. I was originally going to use a torch to heat up the stud for removal, but the location so close to the body made me think twice, hence the induction heater. Once I committed to using...

    O2 sensor stud

Just wanted to close the loop. I was able to remove the old stud thanks to the power of magnetism and Liquid Wrench: New stud installed: New sensors installed: Only replaced the damaged stud, but used new nuts.

    Woo! It's a replaceable stud!

    O2 sensor stud

As can be seen from the photo, one of the downstream O2 sensor studs is messed up. I tried cleaning the threads, but I can't get my thread chaser started (M8x1.25). All the other studs are great. Any solutions here? - Is the stud replaceable? - Is it possible to salvage the stud with some other...

Mystery noise when the wind blows

Just got back from a 2,200 mile trip to Colorado and back and noticed this EXACT same problem. Same noise and symptoms. To add some more information, the sound would go away whenever I would crack open the drivers side window. That's all I got. I hope you find the issue, so I can fix mine too!

Falken Wildpeak AT3 review: short term/mid term/long term

That's the size I'm running, and though I haven't measured them, Falken says that it's 33.4 inches.

Falken Wildpeak AT3 review: short term/mid term/long term

I've had them on my LX for nearly two years and a little over 10,000 miles. The tires are still as quiet as when they were new, and the tread blocks are still crisp and well defined. I've dropped my normal street pressures to 32 psi as I don't drive it on the highway as much, and I've noticed...

    What color is this?

Toyota's standard steelies. They're found on Tundra's. Cheap, durable, and factory fit, too!

    What color is this?

Does anybody have a paint code for the contrast color (what's on the bumper and lower trim) for the Eucalyptus Mica color scheme? Thanks!

Alignment and Frame Shop Santa Monica or Los Angeles

I second RPM Garage. But since you specified Santa Monica, I would recommend Stokes Tire Service: Stokes Tire Service | Santa Monica CA Tires & Auto Repair Shop And of course, Toyota Santa Monica (https://www.toyotasantamonica.com/) or Lexus Santa Monica (Lexus Santa Monica - Lexus Sales...

Is this what a stock GPS antenna looks like?

That is not the OEM GPS antenna.

    LX470 HID RETROFIT PROJECTOR BRACKET

I had Lou make me up a set of lights a while ago, and finally got around to installing them. I won't go into the install process, as that's fairly well documented, but I will say that it took me about 2.5 hours from start/finish, including making an adapter cable to use between the OEM headlight...

    Tires decision time

I've posted it before, but here's a shot with steelies in the 275/70-18 tire size. Untitled by Calvin Kim, on Flickr
