Thanks. I'm sticking with the turbo and going to get the pretuned Unichip from HD Automotive. Seems the only option to get rid of that dead spot on initial acceleration. I'm not looking for huge increases in power or torque but just enough to feel like this engine is alive when I get going.

Thanks, I saw the video and saw that it doesn't work for older than 2002 models. I have a 2000.

I'm going ATW4s C rated. There are only a few brands offering that size and inline the lighter C rating for what I'm planning on this next build.

This video might help anyone on the fence between short and fat vs tall and skinny. I have 285's on my 2" lifted LX470, which I love the look of, but will be going 255 on my HDJ100 with AHC.

Same situation. I bought a Vgate vLinker BM Plus Bluetooth BLE OBD2 Scanner that is supposed to talk to the Torque App but all I got was basic readings of revs and boost. Nothing else. Would be interested to know what others are using that doesn't cost huge $$$ in fancy guages.

Any chance you took a pic of the broken wire? I have similar issues. Mirrors don't point down in reverse, only the drivers folds but both unfold if I fold the passenger manually. Would like to get this sorted as I need to reserve into my parking every day. Anyone else solved this issue?

Hi @Artcarbon, I just found this thread as I'm looking to install the TJM snorkel on my LX470 but wanted to see if anyone else has them and how has it held up, overall satisfaction as well as install tips. Did you end up installing one?

Have you made the trip yet? Following cause I have a similar idea for sourcing a LHD HZJ78 or 76 for the PanAm.
