    I wondered why the shocks were so harsh. I’ve never seen solid bushings for a shock. Check out this castle nut welded onto the rear lower shock mount.

    Tie rod end stuck

    Don't pay OEM prices, you can get a stronger tie rod with jam nuts for less: https://trail-gear.com/steering/fj80-hd-tie-rod-kit.html This is a good alternative to buying a new tie rod, still a lot of work.

    You only get bogged down in the cost of maintenance if you get crazy about it. Fix what breaks and you'll be fine. I've done the front and the rear end on mine, and there's plenty of tutorials on doing the headgasket. Bought mine on the last upswing, had been looking at them for a year at...

    Did you reuse the cracked block by putting liners in it, or is this a new block? Did you resurface the block?

    It needs to be bled. Turn the steering right and left 10 times each with the tires in the air, and fill with fluid as needed.

    You need to watch more Youtube: It's a 100 series Landcruiser with a Solid Front Axle. I came with the 1FZ-FE which makes more power and the 1HZ diesel. The solid front axles, rear axles and steering is heavier duty than the 80 series. I believe it was sold in Australia and South Africa.

    My 2011 Tacoma transmission was sealed and I changed it many times. Fluid doesn't last forever, just through your warranty period. Fluid breaks down with heat eventually. Change it if you want to keep the transmission.

    There are four mounting points, two on the bar and two on the floor. You need all four.

    If you mean the bar that mounts the seat to the wheel well by 3 bolts on either side, then the answer is no. How would you mount them without this?
