    Exhaust Manifold Advice

I think a vendor on here said they could do it for you. Don’t know how much, it was either cruiser Matt or cruiser outfitters. You’d of course have to pay for shipping and whatever the cost was. I think it wasn’t a bad price either.

    Vacuum line, identification

I don’t think that’s it….. Look for the one on the passenger side. I believe it’s supposed to go to the breather and a nipple on the distributor to vent it.

    Vacuum line, identification

The is an emissions diagram that’s available in resources, should help. Also, Has it been desmogged? If not, definitely need to look at emissions manual. If it has, depending on the demos, might not need it. Search for desmogged fj60 and you should be able to get the correct thread...

60 vs 62 Which do you prefer and why?

If the engines are in good shape, they can do 70-75. Even with 33” tires. Can they get there quickly, no. Do they have issues of slowing down on long grades, yes…. If you don’t have a ton of hills to contend with or don’t mind being in slow lane, they do fine at highway speeds. I have an fj60...

    83 FJ60 Normal Idle Speed

That’s a good place. The break booster could be leaking, you spray stuff around it to see if the idle changes. At 12 hg of vacuum, that’s low enough I’d think is a vacuum leak, unless you are high in elevation. But still think that would be low. If the idle doesn’t change when spraying...

    83 FJ60 Normal Idle Speed

Where is the vacuum gauge hooked up? Take a picture of that and post. 12 is way low. Also, when you sprayed the fluid did anything happen? Rev higher or lower, or nothing?
