Wheel bearings are not loose...

No issues with the wheel bearings, they seem to be good. Bearings run cool on long interstate trips.

Hope this helps someone looking for powersteering part numbers as i was unable to locate what I was looking for with the search option. Im new to the group so i assume with a search i can locate supporting venders.....thanks again to everyone for the help.

Per BUIT4ME's instruction im posting this in my original thread. After sitting on the toilet till my feet went numb, i was able to locate the powersteering group in the 800 pages of the PDF parts book.

Ive searched and searched and cant come up with the info i need. I resently re-built the power steering pump on my 80 and have a persistent gear noise after reinstallation. Ive re-seated the pump, removed,inspected and retourqed the gear and still have noise. My question is what damage am i...

I pulled the pump and re-seated it, still a little louder than it was before the re build but releaved to know that was the source of the noise.

Thanks for all the input guys, the noise was the gear on the powersteering pump.
