IIRC, I think it will "remember" eco, comfort and normal (anything equal or more fuel efficient than normal) but the sports modes need to be re-selected every time. Likely another fuel economy thing..
So for all of our recalled engines, is the likely end point complete engine replacement? I haven't heard any new updates but i was recently getting routine maintenance and even the dealership did not know but suspected that was the plan.
Though it sometimes tries to not work, asking Siri to start my car is pretty cool. Id say 80% of the time it works too though i dont do it often so i never really paid attention to what issues keep it from being 100% (its almost certainly an apple/siri problem)
This is just a random noice that sounds like ice cracking (frozen water not engine) so I may have misread previous comments and this could just be my car only. Still not sure what it is but not that worried. Jw if others had discussed or heard it
I’ve read a few comments throughout some of the various posts about a weird pop noise that occurs. I’m noticing this now in my car as well. Seems to have started after about 25k miles.
Only happens once or twice a few minutes after starting my car. It seems to come from the 2 row door areas...
I have a 2023 lx600 and it will slow to a stop but will not restart from the start. It will stay steady at even 5mph and increase to set speed BUT once it stop completely, it has to be restarted and you have to push the gas pedal.
The newest model (maybe just the lx700s?) has smarter control...
I disabled mine immediately after buying. It is in the settings options to permanently disable. Just have to click through and find it. It never turns back on after restart. It’s permanently disabled until I change that setting again.
What is everyone’s plan for oil changes on their 600? I know Toyota rec is every 10K but is anyone doing 5k changes? I plan to keep mine for 300k+ so I’ll do whatever is necessary. Just not really sure if 10k is good in the long run.
