After 3 years of teenager use, the remote was wasted. Realized after seeing it wrapped in tape that help was needed. The housing was cracked and screw missing and wouldn’t stay on the keychain. I do need to teach her about other improvised repairs besides packing tape. Works great @suprarx7nut

Definitely not engineered for the end user! Did mine it a dirt parking lot and it took 3 days of available time and lots of profanity. Too bad mine didn’t fire up because it was the dropped valve that happened during shutdown. Good you got it back on the road.

It's a booger for sure. I did it without pulling the manifold but the cats have to be disonnected and the heat shields were surprisingly difficult. Go ahead and have a replacement solenoid connector because it will likely be brittle and snap when removed.
