Thanks Jon. Drove to work the next morning and after about 5 minutes all three lights stopped coming on under 1500 RPMs. Charging system and battery tested fine and it didn't come back today. I'll prep for an new alternator. Thanks again.

Hi. After filling my 91 today, the A/T, alt and brake light are coming on below 1500 rpm. Above, they go off. Any recommendations for where to start tracing this one down? I'll start tracing the alternator circuit in the FSM, but this was weird enough that I wanted to ask here right away...

I removed the radio and the glove box, was not too difficult. Made it possible to thread the antenna cable through the cab and out of the fender. If you do this, make sure you tie wire or something else to the cable so you can pull it back through the hole to get it back into the cab.

Hi. Replacing the mast on a 1991 with the smooth nylon drive cable. On the bottom of the aluminum mast there is a single notch. (not the notched ring) Can anyone tell me where to orient that notch? Does it even matter? Thanks. MRS

Hi. I'm brand new to FJ80s and just bought a 1991. It didnt come with a front bumper but I found a 95 locally on CL. Looking at the toyota parts catalog, it looks like the brackets and stays are the same, but the actual bumper is only 91-92. Does anyone know if it is just a style difference...
