Oil seepages around where the valve cover gasket sits is the main indicator on mine. Take a look around and see if you can spot similar leaks/marks. Just judging the pictures you already provided, I’m going to say if you do indeed have a valve cover leak it is much less prevalent than mine is.

My KZJ78 has the same oil spot. My valve cover gasket needs replaced so maybe that could be the issue as well? I’ll be following this thread to see if there is a confirmed answer

I cleaned most of the rust, I just didn’t take a picture of the afterwards; bulb grease I did not do though, that’s a good idea.

I tried going through USAA but ran into issues with every person not understanding how to do non-standard VINs; Progressive is who I ended up going with and opted for liability.

Did some research and found that I needed 1157 style bulbs for the brake lights. Went to autozone and picked some up for less than $5. The new lights look so much better compared to the old ones.

Hello, I recently did some browsing for a kaymar rear bar for my KZJ78 and found myself on the US Kaymar website. They quoted me close to $13,000 after freight shipping from Australia. I was wondering if there were any real US vendors that stocked 70 series Kaymar bumpers? Thank you!

Thank you for the reply! After taking a look online it doesn’t appear to be too complex of a fix. I will do it when I delete my EGR.
