I don't know what their deal is either, it's off by one year (vvti was 06, not 05), all I can think of is that somewhere in there it's build date not model year or something. I have an 05 and have the "98-04" headers on, as i don't have VVTI and it's all good.

Are the KO2s actually new or do they still have a lot of tread depth? KO2s wear well, so they don't lose tread fast, but lose performance over time anyway...

The door solidity is representative of dozens of other shortcuts that seem to have been taken, it's just that we interact with them every time we drive a vehicle and it's such an obvious and easily remedied concern. We could talk about the tie rods or the small rear diff or whatever else too...

I test drove one recently and as i was switching from the passenger to drivers seat (my partner drove it first) I closed the passenger door and it went "bung" not thump. It sounded like a Ford Fiesta or something, just an embarrassment. Honestly that alone might drive me away from the 250.

Hi @Dixon Santana , Your inbox is full, do you still happen to have this diff? Also I would need you to ship it, Cruiser Outfitters charges something like $125 to ship a diff, but I'd probably be OK with paying a bit more if necessary.

FWIW, I had a similar sound (it's hard to tell volume etc in videos) and I think it was the front diff mount bushings, you might wish to check that.

0 offset is a lot, over 2 1/4" more outward than stock (60). I think the sweet spot is around 25,35, fills the fender without a lot of tire outside.

I don't regret much, even the snorkel gives me peace of mind in water crossings. I have aluminum Dissent skids currently, and while I like the no corrosion, and weight, I may get steel next time, as I could reshape them with a hammer and heat if needed, which is not rally an option for the solid...

As far as mileage goes, I get pretty much 12mpg regardless. I've had 33s, now (almost) 35s, roof top tent or not, loaded for a weekend or not, doesn't seem to have much if any real world effects, although towing anything, even a uhaul trailer puts you solidly into single digits. I doubt there is...
