Just going back through this thread and realized, where has time gone?. Since originally posting, and planning for retirement, my wife and I purchased a retirement home 20 minutes North of Huntsville AL in Tennessee. Can't wait to get to the area and meet more Cruiser fanatics. Until then...

Just checking in...the cruiser is progressing well and if I had to guess I put the completion date to be around spring of '26. Cheers, Joel

Added a couple of Dave's accoutrements and decided to go with the one bumper look. Very pleased with the quality of the tire carrier.

Wrapped up the suspension install and started the installation of a Dakota Digital RTX gauge set. No surprises with the install, everything went smooth. I put the controllers in the glove box so they are out of sight and secure. I still have to dress out the wiring but overall it’s a clean look...

I took a little different approach with my moisture barrier -

Manually cycled through the gears the best i could with a big screwdriver, played with the reverse detent and aligned everything for reassembly. Dove into the shifting issue further and this is what I saw when I removed the shift cane: The FSM didn't describe or show the orientation of the gears when in neutral. My novice eye thinks its in neutral, am I correct or? If it is in neutral, what would my next step be isolating why the...
