Yeah, that picture is pretty bad. Guy is also parting out another 40, not sure on the year. I might take a ride out to check these. If I do, I'll get some better pix. I don't know why, but this keeps saying buy me buy me........before Mushro does

It doesn't look like john's place... I thought he had all the 25's in Az

That place looks alot cleaner than my place. So no it isn't mine. A few like this are around. Also years ago I spoted a very nice green one on the road driving. Headed in the other direction and couldn't turn around safely to catch it.

I would go take a look at this one but the cost of gas to drive to Apache Junction just to look doesn't make sense. The plan is to bring a couple of mine I have hidden away back to the valley and get really to sells. But if I really need a fix I have one here under a tarp I can look at. Knowing how very rare they are I might have to uncover it when I get home and see first hand what a very rare vehicle looks like:rolleyes:

He sent me some photos. Body isnt to bad, rear sill rusted out, rear quarters have holes in them for aftermarket tail lights. Looks like Best Top soft top, late 60's F engine, no air cleaner or manifolds.Ford steering Missing alot FJ25 stuff, head light rims, gas cap, seats, rims.....

So are you looking for another FJ25 parts rig? How about posting some of those pictures here. Not wanting to drive all the way over there for a vehicle not intersted in buying but always curious what is available and what price it will bring.

Does not look like it has too many stock 25 parts left on that rig...what was the asking price again ?? $2000 ?? It could be a fun rig, and in the hands of someone with lots of patience I guess it could eventually be restored.

If you are looking for a parts rig, I'd wait a little longer...something is surely to pop up eventually...

Not much other than the tub is FJ25. That grill looks more like early FJ40. Is that the original in the back? The speedo wasn't black. The transfer case shifter was on the driver's side. May not be the original set up. Could have changed the tranny/tranfer with the engine. Both clutch and brake masters are not original. The idea of it's a good project is what happened to me after I bought my second, third and fourth FJ25 as parts vehicles. But none of them were this bad. This is not worth much more than the price of scrap metal. It doesn't even have the original gas cap. For the very few part you might get off of it it's not worth $2K.

Sold!

Hi,
I saw this rig yesterday, I was picking up some fj40 factory wheels from one of the 40 series he was parting out.
Seller said he has it sold and it's headed to California in the next couple of days. I did not ask and he did not tell the price.
