Info: These are images of jerseys being created for the newly forming IH8MUD race team - an widespread group of privateer racers who are equally passionate about spending time on two wheels as they are of their time in their rigs or surfing IH8MUD.com. The text running down the sleeves are the names of the sponsors who are signing on for 2011.
Sizing: The first run of XC styles w/ run S - XL; while the DH / MX style will be M - 2XL. This is based on the assumption that those that tend to wear tight, stretchy lycra tend to be leaner and more streamlined than their gravity-fueled / throttle dependent counterparts. I doubt you all will disprove this theory, but I'll gladly attempt to accommodate any freaks of nature that prove me wrong. Shoot me a PM if you don't see a size you want.
Women and children are NOT yet accommodated. I am still searching for a vendor who can offer us these options while still maintaining high quality, low order requirements, and reasonable pricing.
Size charts are forthcoming. I have requested both sizing charts and physical samples so that we can compare to other manufacturers.
Purchasing: DH / MX styles are $65. XC Short Sleeve style is $65; XC Long Sleeve style is $75. S&H is $6.
I am using my firm's online dealer store to process paypal ordering. This allows you to send payment, transmit your size and style preferences, receive a confirmation email, and it creates an invoice and shipping label to simplify my life.
Purchasing is being handled 'group-buy' style. Orders are being submitted to the jersey printer in batches of 30. This means that your money sits in our PayPal acct until we hit the 30 threshold. Yes, it's frustrating as we're accustomed to next day delivery, but this is a side project done mostly for the combined love of knobby tires and old Land Cruisers. If you want immediate satisfaction, order something generic off Amazon.
Backstory: This project started out of a random convo between three Land Cruiser owners at a bike race. All three of which were racing privateer, owned old Land Cruisers, and frequented IH8MUD. As a marketing professional who works in the cycling industry, I had the idea to form a grassroots race team w/in MUD and provide those who wanted to race w/ discounted products / services from our sponsors. More on the evolution of the race team idea and the jersey design in this thread.
