This is a great mod if you’re running a bigger turbo, injectors or both! Developed for 1HD-T and 1HD-FT engines.
Same geometry as the ones we used to carry, but with some modifications to the molecular structure of the steel itself. These are made from high carbon chromium stainless with optimum hardness. Tested and certified at 56-57 HRC. So in other words, same performance, better quality product.
Note: Most “performance pins” on the market are made of soft tool steel and easily wear inside the pump. This causes the spring loaded pin it rides against to stick against the side. Why is that an issue? It will cause decreased performance over time, with unpredictable over fueling or under fueling and could lead to catastrophic engine failure. These pins are a true stainless steel product.
Our pins are notched at the bottom on the backside, which allows you to easily install the pin without removing the spring at the front of the pump…
