Details

Are you looking for an unmolested, lovely 100-series Land Cruiser with just under 250,000 miles? If so, look no further! Hank has (almost) all of his original parts, with quality of life improvements made where they matter, while preserving the lovely, analog feel of a 2006 luxury off-roader.

I’ve owned Hank for 5.5 years. I never intended to sell him and he has been cared for lovingly as such, but my wife has decided that we no longer “need” multiple trucks, and thus Hank must be sold. For the last 5.5 years he has been parked indoors for all but a few months, detailed at least annually, and washed very frequently during the winter months. He has been serviced only at dealers or, more recently, a small import shop specializing in Land Cruisers. All original equipment is functional unless otherwise noted.

Improvements:
  • The sound system has been entirely professionally replaced, with new speakers, amplifier, phone bluetooth connection (GROM Audio unit, with both music and phone mic). Bluetooth connection is automatically made with your phone upon turning on the car.
  • All body panels (with exception of hood) have been repainted by a boutique auto body shop (Stony Creek Collision in Ypsilanti, MI)
  • Both all-season (Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza Plus) and winter (Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 on stock wheels) wheel sets included.
  • Tasteful tint on all windows (Front matches factory ~20% tint on rear windows; rear window with limo tint).
  • Hank comes with a Samsung Tab A7 Lite with 4G LTE radio, set on a tablet mount to act as a usable Google Maps/Android Auto screen
  • Weathertech all-weather front floor mats; original floor mats also included
  • Retracting radio antenna replaced with short stubby aftermarket antenna
  • Recently (Spring 2026) replaced battery with 27F battery

Recent Care:
  • New front brake pads and rotors installed (November 2025)
  • Brake lines recently (December 2025) professionally replaced to ensure braking system integrity
  • Brake Master Cylinder was professionally replaced in 2022
  • The aftermarket antenna broke off just before pictures were taken; it has since been replaced.

Highlights:
  • Original first aid kit and roadside repair kit intact
  • Adaptive Variable Suspension with Adjustable Height System is present and functioning (cycles through and holds all height settings correctly).
  • Curtain Shield airbags in 1st and 2nd row
  • Rear Seat Entertainment with DVD player
  • Factory Navigation present and functioning; as above, modifications have already been made to allow for bluetooth connection.
  • Third row seats are included; they are not mounted at this time
  • Hard copies of nearly all maintenance performed since I have owned the car are available on request.

Known Mechanical Issues:
  • Exhaust Manifold: Small crack present, causing some noise on startup that quickly resolves, no functional issues.
  • Shocks: Slight weeping discovered in the process of preparing for sale; ride quality not affected but these will need to be replaced in the future. I have deferred replacement only to allow the next owner to choose their own shocks.
  • Rear brakes will likely require replacement in about 10,000 miles
  • The rear passenger roof rack leg is missing (Toyota Part# 63493-60070)
  • Frame rust: This car appeared to have a single owner in Cincinnati, Ohio prior to my purchase. There is substantial surface scaling present. The frame has been inspected several times since I have owned it and nothing other than superficial rust has been found.
  • Body rust: There are three areas of superficial body rust (pictures included); under the rear wiper, behind the passenger front wheel well, and in front of the passenger rear wheel. All have appeared in the last year, with the wheel well rust only in the last several months. There is also superficial surface rust present on the tailgate hitch receiver.
