Small rusty area behind windshield seal was discovered when the glass was replaced. This is really common. So windshield and rear window were removed and all rust was cut out, replaced with new metal.Roof, rear hatch, and rear quarters professionally repainted
Engine was replaced by previous owner. Carfax on the newer engine VIN shows about 200k miles. Previous owner said this engine was rebuilt before installation (roughly 15-20k miles ago). Engine does not smoke or make unusual noises, but there is some mild oil burning (less than a quart per 5k mile oil change). There are no oil leaks.
Carfax on this LX450 shows an accident in 2013. A vehicle backed into the front in a parking lot, so the front bumper and grille were replaced at that time.
Last passed emissions in December 2024. Not tested in El Paso County.
Vehicle currently needs nothing to be a respectable daily driver. The major pain points with 80 Series have already been addressed.
No current rust on the vehicle.
