I’ve decided to sell my
1996 GCC Spec 80 series
I have 2 White, flareless, no sunroof 80’s, so 1 has to go, as I just picked up another project cruiser.
Heres’s the specs.
1996 imported from the Middle East
H151F Trans,
HF1A part time T-case
1FZ-FE coil pack engine.
Bars doors
No sunroof
Cloth interior
Factory Aux fuel tank
Lots of cool little things we didn’t get here, or we did get and didn’t want.
Like the e slide controls for the AC.
No airbags, or defrost vents in the dash.
It was originally a 1FZ carb engine, but it was swapped to the coil pack engine before it was imported.
This is not a freshly imported truck
It has been freshened up,, baselined ect.
The first US owner had it baselined at Slee.
They went through some engine stuff and did the axles F/R completely, new bearings, seals, ect. RCV front axle shafts.
It supposedly recieved a new clutch ect when the motor swap was done, but I have no way to verify that.
It runs great, shifts great, 4wd and T-case all operate as they should
No grinding going into gear.
I had it painted locally as it came from Saudi with a terrible, multiple? Paint jobs from the past.
The only things I can really complain about is the overspray form those previous paint jobs.
Current paint is very good, single stage 045
Cut and polished.
It has an OME stock height suspension kit
17x7.5” FJ Cruiser steel wheels on 255-80-17 Terra grappler G3’s.
All done in the last couple months.
