Well-loved and meticulously maintained 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ42 (Diesel) — same owner for the past 26 years, and kept as factory-original as possible.
The 3B diesel engine has been fully rebuilt, with only ~28,948 mi / ~48,000 km on the rebuild. Bearings were replaced in the 4-speed transmission at the same time.
Every service over the past two-and-a-half decades was done either by Toyota's North Shore dealership in Vancouver or by specialist Land Cruiser mechanics — never any shortcuts.
Original Toyota parts were used wherever possible, right down to the nuts and bolts. Where parts weren't available locally, they were imported directly from Japan to keep her factory-correct.
Original Toyota wheels and folding rear seats are included. She drives beautifully — the tub will want replacing eventually, which is pretty standard for a 40-series this age, but everything else has been kept in genuine, factory-original shape.
