Picking it up from the second owner who's had it for 10 years. New carpet, front leather, OME springs/shocks, landtank MAF, aux fusebox, and slee headlight harness and dual battery tray all just in the last few years. In the last year, dealer top end rebuild with new valves, valve springs, guides, head gasket, new radiator, thermostat, hoses, belts, u-joints, and brakes. New rear carpet and tires too. About 1500 miles since rebuild.

Plans: either custom front bumper or ARB/TJM, winch, 33s or 35s, sliders, and eventually a rear bumper. :stoked: :D

The damn-near-new Duelers are posted in the classifieds...

Clean LX! I'd be wary of the K&N (if there is one), OEM filters can't be beat on these.

That's a nice maintenance history, and the seats looks great.

Very nice to buy a truck that sounded like it was loved and cared for....congrats!

however...that aluminum radiator looks like it was made out of brass :-( ...

Lol on the radiator. At least it's not plastic. I paid WAY less than retail, that's for sure! Seriously, guy wanted $5200, which was more than fair for what I'm getting.

What the 2 switches under the radio for?

B.

Custom facia for the ashtray area that houses two aux outlets that have plug covers.

From CDan via 'mud. A member here was the PO, but I don't know his screen name.

wow man super clean. replace the K&N like said above, and your golden. awesome history on the maint.!!! oh yeah remove the side steps :)

I'll have to grab a new filter. I didn't care for the K&N in the Hundy.

Just found a killer deal on one of these (not originally for an 80, but might work):

I have a buddy who can powdercoat it. Not sure if I want black, gray, or silver....

Nice find! And nice pic of the 'traveler' sitting next to the shifter. Did you ever sell your 07?

Thx, traded the 07 LC in on a Lexus GS450h.

Looks like the AL TJM I found isn't going to work. It's originally for a F150, and is 77.5" wide. The 80 is about 73" or so wide, flare to flare. Oh well, I like the ARB better anyway.

Fixed the pass seat this morning (plastic plug popped out of the shaft housing) and did a little cleaning.

The PO did have good taste, though...

what bumper is it, and where did you get it? are there more killer deals!?:D

The bumper I found is a TJM Aluminum bumper for a late 80's F-150. Unfortunately it's 77.5" wide. The 80 needs something in the 72-74" range, so some serious surgery would be required to make it work. Gonna pass on that one and just build my own like I did for my 100.

Ordered (4) Cooper STT 305/70/16's today from treadepot.com. Good deal right now at $212 per tire with $75 rebate and free shipping. :D

Unfortunately, just because you order 4 STTs doesn't necessarily mean that you will receive 4 STTs...

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

Looks like I won't have them on today after all...

Put the 245's up front? :hillbilly:

Let us know how easy that site is to deal with regarding this, that's a great price for the Coopers, might be where I get my next seat of meats.

The people at tread depot wouldn't give me the contact info of the person who got my 4th tire, but the did give UPS the shipping info with phone number which was printed out by our shipping dept. Lol. I called the guy and chatted with him a few min. Turns out that he was told to leave my tire outside with no label and UPS would come get it. They didn't. Not a happy customer is an understatement. Colossal clusterfawk so far....
