Just spent the last 2 1/2 days building these two beta bumpers. There will be two different versions, one with a small stinger and one with a large one. These are beta bumpers so I screwed around with the canister guard but the rest will remain the same as seen in the photos.

The price for this bumper will be $649.95 raw or an extra $120 for powder coating upon request. This bumper has two light mounts for PIAA or of similar size light, a c.b. antenna mount and two rock light mounts. For the winch you can use a 9.5xp or something of similar size w/ the remote solenoid. I am not certain if a 12,000lb winch will fit since it is a very tight space that the winch sits in. The bumper weighs in at 69lbs total not including the winch.

Any questions or feedback would be appreciated, I am always up for some new ideas or constructive criticism.

Some more. Here you can see the reason for the size of the large stinger. I have it just tall enough to crest over the hood to create a reference point for wheeling. Plus the added benefit for protecting your hood in the worst case scenario.

nice!

why are the recovery points aimed downward? (more stress on most pulls?)

VERY sexy! I like it.
Thanks.

Wow, 69lbs seems pretty light for a beefy bumper. Looks good.

Does anyone know offhand what the following bumpers weigh empty for reference?

Strong but light = MT 2” .120” Wall DOM – SRA tubing.

We make the 80 bumper using the same proprietary tubing we now make our FJ40 roll cages out of. This last year we had such a hard time getting the specific high quality tubing we require for our FJ40 roll cages, we went straight to a mill an now its made for us. This way we can maintain the quality of steel for strength and consistency for our roll cages and now the 80 bumpers.

More room for shackles when aligned with the face of the bumper also they are 3/4" solid steel pull points that pierce through the 3/16" center, welded backside and front. They are ready for stress!

Nice!
Can you order one without the stinger?
Any rear bumpers in the works? Thanks.

Yes you can order one with out any form of stinger. Always somthing in the works for rears, nothing formal right now.

I like. Very nice. When it is available?

Taking orders now for Feb 12th ship date. All but the tall stinger betas are pre-sold.

Awesome! How big are those piaa lights that in there, 6"?

Yes they are PIAA 520 6" lights. We will do them at $199.95 (fog or driving) for the pair with the purchase of the bumper. Rock lights are standard 3” utility lights.

NOTE: The bumpers come will all mounting hardware and winch controller (solenoid) mounting bracket. This is a complete bolt on bumper.

Metal Tech,
Will it fit a pair for Light Force 170? Thanks.

It looks great. I have been holding out for this bumper because, if I was going to build one it would be VERY similar. The only other things I would consider adding would be diamond plate steel or aluminum around the Piaa's and perhaps on top of the bumper extending back horizontally to the grill/headlights to kinda cap it off. I had an Allpro bumper on the 4Runner that did that and I really liked it.

I also was not interested in a stinger because they dominate the look of a truck so much. The smaller stinger is a nice option. It provides some protection but is not distracting to the look of the truck. You might have me sold on the small stinger now over the bumper without a stinger.

I think I want to order one. Are you taking orders through your website?

Well done, you captured the taller stinger perfectly in terms of seeing the hoop over the hood. The 80 is big enough that it provides a great point of reference in tight spaces for a built rig.

You people have no idea how valuable this is at the mall and in your own garage before you even get to the trail :D

Well done Mark and LT. Always great to see fresh new products for Toyotas!

I would like to see a filled in version too. It's going to be hard to decide which bumper to buy in a couple of years when I will be in the market for one. There are so many good choices these days.

Edit: Do you by chance have a head on pic of the taller stinger?
