I need TJM help from Down Under

A few months ago I purchased an incomplete TJM T-15 (steel) bumper for an IFS 100 Series. I got it from a Mudder that goes to AU on business and sources parts. Ever since that time, I have been trying to source the correct parts to make it complete. I currently have Tacoma bumper ends on it that I have rigged to almost fit using washer stacks to open up the spread on the ends so that they clear the fenders (Ghetto, I know). This is my dream bumper and the only thing left on the list are the turn signals, bumper ends and rubber spacers that go in between the bumper and the bumper ends....and perhaps frame to bumper mounting brackets (one of mine is a little mangled).

I'd be ecstatic just to get the correct bumper ends

Can anyone help me out? If you have access to these parts or can connect me to a source that can get me these parts I will definitely make it worth your while (plus I'll throw in a V.I.P. LED light kit with full interior, parking lights, license plate lights, and rear backup, turn signal and brakes)

Man I hope so. I have sent numerous emails to TJM dealers in AU that have gone unanswered.

Re: LEDs...don't know yet. I have exterior LEDs en route for evaluation. I might make an "EVERYTHING" kit soon

Not to totally hijack, but keep me up to date on the brake/signal LEDs front and rear. I've been really eyeballing the new platinum series lamps from VLEDs because the output looks phenominal, but the $80/pair price tag makes me throw up in my mouth a little every time I see it.

I got sick of those high maintainence turn signals and fitted Narva p/n 90820 (i think - was a while ago) leds in a plate i made up- clear that light up orange. I know you like your leds and they were cheep (about $12AU)- hella do something similar.
I would just mock up the ends in cardboard, and get someone to cut/fold them up and weld them on, if your having that much trouble. They were only about 1/8" thick from memory. Then while your welding, you could put in some reinforcing gussets. To remove the bumperetts, pick out the TJM logo and undo the 1 tecscrew underneeth for repainting. Use this opportunity to cut a slot in those antenna tabs so when you want to remove the bar in the future, the co-ax slips thru the slot.
After a minor bump, I had to fab up 1 new chassis mount and straighten the other, and straightened the bar with a 2lb dead blow hammer. Yes - it was steel.
I have since sold that bar and replaced it with a heavier ARB bar that would not bend with hand tools.

Are the side pieces just steel also? Mock some up in cardboard and give them to a metal shop to replicate in steel. Easy.

I have zero stateside leads for the stuff you're looking for from TJM, so I'm afraid that I'm no help in that department. I'll pay for the LEDs from you if they pan out. Still very happy with the kit.

thanks for the pics here. I'll go down to my local TJM dealer and get them to look at this thread and post back.
Unfortunately i dont think TJM or even ARB can help with your shoes, but i've asked Amnesty International and the Salvation Army but they both said "no no no"

Alls well that ends well!

After a year of searching for bumper ends for my TJM T-15 bumper I am happy to report that this showed up today!

Big thanks to davmicjoh for hooking me up. Looks like after a year and a half, I finally have a 100% complete front bumper!!!

Dave actually sent me quite a few parts (as he retired his old T-15 after an accident). I had been running T-3 bumper mounting brackets but I think I will be switching them out for the T-15 specific ones.

BEFORE:

I was making due with ends made for a Tacoma. I had to do a lot of trimming to get them to fit. I also ran a huge washer stack to push the ends out enough to clear the fender.

This is the latest steel bar from TJM?
By the look of it, it should fit the LX470 as well as the aerial tabs are alredy at the outside.

I supposedly won a TJM hat from one of their Facebook givaways and they never sent it. That was 2 months ago. ARB bumpers are starting to look much better to me now.
