Recently found the batteries had leaked in my Snap-On digital torque wrench. Their warranty says simply to send them any item damaged by their batteries and they will repair/replace. Didn't really expect much to happen but after a little time and a few questions via email regarding when purchased/cost, I received a check for current replacement cost.

I shouldn't have to be, but in this day and time - I'm impressed! Kudos to Duracell!

Good to know on the Duracell warranty. I have had the same set of Energizer Lithium batteries in my Snap On torque wrench for a good two years now, amazing life span.

that's good to know .. but I usually keep my batt powered ( that I not use often ) devices without batt .. I don't want to take any chances ..

Waorani how do you like your digital torque wrench? how often do you get it calibrated?
